Since 2022, we’ve been on a mission to create spaces where uOttawa students and faculty can truly express themselves, sharing their thoughts and passions around themes that matter most to them. What started as an initiative to spark dialogue has grown into something far greater: Causons Discutons has become the beating heart of our activities.

Today, Causons Discutons is more than just a series of events – it’s a community pillar and a key space of exchange for young Africans at uOttawa, in Toronto, and soon, on campuses in France. It’s where stories are told, ideas are born, and connections flourish, all rooted in the richness of African perspectives.

This journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. Together, we’ve created a welcoming environment where individuals can feel seen, heard, and valued. Whether it’s tackling tough conversations, celebrating cultural heritage, or dreaming boldly about the future, Causons Discutons is a space where voices matter, and every dialogue brings us closer.

As we look ahead, we’re filled with excitement and gratitude. Expanding to campuses in France is just the beginning of this next chapter, and we can’t wait to see how this growing community will continue to inspire and empower.
